Job Description

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Graphic Designer (Figma) based in Latin America to join our global, cross-functional team of creative and strategic minds behind internal marketing initiatives at Apply Digital. As a member of the Marketing Design team, you will be reporting directly to the Marketing Design Lead based in North America. You will work on initiatives from all regions of the business (North America, Europe and Latin America) as needed, and will contribute to a range of projects — ensuring all designs meet brand expectations and are aligned with the goals of the company. This includes the Apply Digital website experience, digital marketing assets, internal and business development decks, company swag, social media assets, corporate event collateral, and more. Your work will contribute to the overall experience of Apply Digital, so we are looking for someone who values collaboration and thinks holistically. This role requires an intermediate to advanced proficiency in Figma, backed by a minimum of two years of hands-on experience with Figma.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create visually impactful, on-brand designs, templates and infographics for website landing pages, print assets, pitch decks, social media, events, and occasionally office spaces, ensuring consistency across all mediums and touch-points.
Mentor and inspire other designers on the team by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of graphic design, UI design, typography, and layout techniques.
Work closely with a cross-disciplinary team of Strategists, Motion Designers, Copywriters, and Software Engineers to develop creative concepts and translate strategic ideas into focused, compelling designs with clear narratives.
Play a key role in adding to, and enhancing the Apply Digital website experience —  from UI design to content authoring and visual QA.
Contribute to, and maintain a comprehensive atomic design system within Figma.
Keep a strong eye on all design assets in progress, and provide feedback and project guidance when the Design Lead is unavailable.

REQUIREMENTS:
At least 2 years of experience working with Figma is required.
Advanced knowledge of Figma is strongly preferred.
Advanced Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is mandatory.
Strong understanding of design principles and excellent attention to detail – if a pixel is out of place you’ll spot it!
Minimum 5+ years of graphic design experience.
Excellent collaboration, communication, time management, and organizational skills with an ability to bring abstract ideas and service offerings to life.
Excellent knowledge of Google Slides, and a good comprehension of Google Docs and Google Sheets.
A strong understanding of web and UI design, and a basic grasp on (or the willingness to learn) content authoring in a headless CMS (Storyblok). Some familiarity with atomic design systems and design tokens is required.
Ability to multitask and meet deliverables within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Acknowledgement of WCAG accessibility guidelines and a passion for inclusive design.
Any additional experience with photo retouching, print design, UX or motion animation is a strong asset, but not required.
You have some experience using creative AI platforms such as Midjourney and Firefly, or have interest in learning how to use them effectively for design purposes.
