Platform Engineer at Publitas.com B.V.

Responsibilities:
You will enhance productivity by proactively identifying and implementing developer tooling, automation, and more efficient development processes.
You will design, build, and maintain core software infrastructure foundational to the organization’s various applications.
You will identify and eliminate code duplication across engineering teams to enhance standardization and reduce costs.
You will document and share development best practices, coding standards, and lessons learned to foster knowledge sharing and establish a uniform quality standard.
You will ensure the scalability, performance, and security of software or tooling, collaborating with other teams to maintain these standards.
You will collaborate with development and operations teams to implement DevOps practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and automation.
You will help and mentor less experienced developers and help us build a strong engineering team.
You are educated in the field, preferably with a Master’s degree, or you have several years of experience working in a well-known and established SaaS company.
You have at least ten years of experience using modern front-end tooling and frameworks.
While your main passion is the frontend, you are full stack.
You have an empathic perspective, which allows you to see the many aspects of a problem.
You can work back from the problem domain towards technical solutions, making technical decisions and breaking problems into manageable chunks on the way.
You’re a strong written and verbal communicator and very fluent and comfortable with English. You are able to explain technical concepts and help bring consensus within the team.
