Job Description

Job title: Microsoft Cloud Consultant

Reports to: Cloud Consultancy Director

Location: Remote/Hybrid to one of our Manchester, Leeds or London offices with travel to client sites as and when needed

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm with a 60-minute lunch break – 37.5 hours per week

Do you have the skills and experience to design, implement and support Microsoft technologies such as O365, Azure, Infrastructure and Power Apps? Responsibilities:

Leading stakeholder engagement in the definition and delivery of quality software solutions to BCN customers
Provide Virtual CTO Services (vCTO) services to BCN customers offering an overall vision, strategy and technical roadmap.
Providing technical guidance and best practices on Microsoft cloud technologies, such as M365, Azure, Infrastructure, Data and the Power ecosystem
Hosting customer webinars or workshops to discuss latest trends and technologies.
Working with the Sales Team to promote and advise customers on the latest Microsoft technologies, responding to RFP’s and providing solution design and effort estimate scoping.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud solutions
Keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in Microsoft cloud technologies

Job requirements
Person, Skills & Experience:

A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field or have equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or as a Microsoft cloud engineer
A deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud solutions, such as M365, Azure, Fabric, PowerApps and Business Systems
A strong knowledge of cloud architecture, design patterns and best practices
A certification in one or more of the following: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Power Platform App Maker Associate
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
A passion for learning new technologies and solving complex problems
