Job Description
THRESH0LD is a rapidly growing B2B SaaS blockchain tech company helping digital asset exchanges, payment processors, crowdfunding platforms, and other companies using digital assets, to operate in the most efficient manner possible. We help companies cut costs, save time and scale without compromise. We’re looking for a TechOps Engineer, based in India, to remotely join our team.
We’re looking for someone who can collaboratively work within a team while having the opportunity to show initiative and contribute to the team and wider company
You should have a deep interest and track record in the blockchain space, with a genuine interest in improving the financial services ecosystem.
You should be creative but also able to reason about technical problems, argue thoughtfully and contribute in a team setting.
Responsibilities include:
incident resolution,
capacity management,
systems monitoring,
support tasks,
infrastructure planning.
As TechOps engineer, you will be expected to rapidly respond to events and outages, ensuring a consistent and thorough response, while working to minimize any potential business impact. You will also lead efforts to enhance TechOps capabilities through automation and the buildout of new tool sets and processes. You will be uniquely positioned to interact with clients and stakeholders, requiring you to quickly build a working understanding of the relationships between systems and the organizations dependent on them.
You will be right at home if you:
Have experience working on a globally deployed team providing around the clock monitoring and troubleshooting of proprietary and third party systems
Are well versed in coordinating efforts with other global support teams to ensure rapid response and escalation, continuity, and consistent support
Are a seasoned technologist with a broad range of knowledge and experience deploying and supporting proprietary technologies
Have exceptional communication and collaboration skills and the ability to quickly build trust and credibility with a variety of stakeholders
Have experience implementing process automation and monitoring tools using a combination of in-house and third-party technologies
Can build clear, concise documentation for common procedures, troubleshooting scenarios and system architecture
What’s needed in this role:
Expert troubleshooting and problem analysis skills, spanning multiple technology stacks and high-performance applications deployed across a global footprint
Extensive Linux support and engineering experience in a high availability corporate environment;
Extensive experience with AWS/GCP Cloud management
Experience with API Integration
Scripting and automation experience, preferably with Python
Knowledge in Blockchain and Cryptography
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills in teaching others complex ideas in an easy to understand format
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
