Job Description

About the role:
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Designer will play a key role in shaping Creative Market and Fontspring’s brand identity, while bringing the brand to life across our marketing mix. You’ll have an opportunity to work as part of our Marketing team to develop concepts and creative direction for our marketing initiatives. You’ll then be responsible for executing these designs across a variety of channels.

You are a self starter who can present ideas, justify your design choices, and incorporate feedback effectively. You will collaborate with our Product team to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all touch points. If you have a thorough understanding of the design community, and are passionate about creating beautiful designs, you’ll thrive in this role!

As a Marketing Designer, you’ll be responsible for:
Conceptualizing and establishing creative direction for marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Leading and executing the design and creation of landing pages, social graphic and video content, email graphics and layouts, paid advertisements, and other marketing assets.
Creating and delivering unique visual content aligned with Creative Market and Fontspring’s brand guidelines to ensure that the brand’s quality standards are consistently achieved.
Evolving and refining the brand’s identity and brand guide, in collaboration with Product.
Hitting deadlines while ensuring high quality. Organization is key!
We’re looking for:
4+ years of relevant design experience under your belt, whether that’s with a creative agency, in-house Marketing team, or through a variety of freelance work. You have experience in developing thoughtful creative concepts, coupled with high quality executions.
Experience with a variety of design tools. We use Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva!
Experience executing static design, as well as video and motion graphics.
A keen eye for beautiful design and excellent attention-to-detail in typography, composition, and craftsmanship.
Someone who’s always keeping up with current creative trends.
A strong understanding of creative best practices for different platforms (Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest, etc.) and formats (blog posts, videos, banners, etc.).
