Job Description

The Senior UX/UI Designer will report to our Head of Product Design and serve as a key member of our design team. This role will lead the creation of compelling user experiences that seamlessly blend usability with aesthetic excellence. Collaboration will be a critical component to the success of this position. The Senior UX/UI Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams, to include product, marketing, engineering, and QA. This individual will lead efforts to design and define the interactions and interfaces that will engage our customers. At the core, you will transform unmet user needs and business opportunities into successful product launches. You will work to create a best-in-class customer experience for Keepers website and web applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for user-centered design and has a wide breadth of experience across multiple product types, channels, platforms and design methodologies.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, QA, and stakeholders, to define user requirements, project objectives, visuals and experience
Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation and wireframing to prototyping and final UI design, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience
Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gain insights into user behavior and preferences, and integrate findings into design decisions
Create user personas, journey maps, and other design artifacts to communicate user needs and inform design solutions effectively
Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across products and platforms
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design, and advocate for their integration into our design processes
Use and evolve Keepers design system and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across our web properties
Design responsive layouts for web, desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms
Requirements

Proven track record of at least 5 years in UX/UI design roles, with a portfolio showcasing a strong foundation in user-centered design principles and practices
Bachelors degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent experience
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as prototyping tools like InVision or Framer
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design insights
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and experience designing for multiple devices and platforms (web, desktop, mobile, tablet)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate for design decisions effectively
Ability to solve problems, adapt and overcome objections, and learn complex solutions
Passion for creating elegant and impactful user experiences, with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship
