Job Description

We need an experienced CPO to support our team by helping us manage all of the products we’re involved with: Pairwise, Praise, our web3 swag shop, Giveth and more to come!

We’re looking for someone to provide guidance and mentorship to mid- level to junior product managers on our team, as well as be a high level product manager, to ensure General Magic continues to define the cutting edge of creating solution services for impact DAOs.

To succeed in this role you must:

Be a skilled web3 product manager with a passion for leading complex projects.
Lead a team of 10+ employees, helping them level up their knowledge and improve their processes.
Support the team with project and product management, and also be willing to get involved when you need to.
Be an exceptional communicator of technical solutions and work tasks, both internally within the team and externally with stakeholders.
Be a naturally empathic, supportive and organized team lead.
Be comfortable accepting, giving and applying constructive feedback.
Maintain a flexible work schedule, as our team navigates time zones all over the world.
Support the team with HR decisions.
Be fluent in written and verbal English.
Web3 and DAO experience preferred!
As a Chief Product Manager, you will be an essential decision-maker in shaping what gets built and when. You will coordinate and collaborate with peers in order to bring ideas into working products. You will drive strategy and roll out a product roadmap with stakeholders in the organization.

What you’ll be doing
You will be a leader within General Magic, and a core member to help us with our technical strategy as well as our overall business strategy.
Be a hybrid leader, product manager and project manager, who loves to push the team forward and help us deliver amazing end results to our clients.
Mentor experienced mid-level and junior product managers while helping us build better processes across our organization.
Regularly review work flows and help us constantly improve our project pipeline and best practice standards.
Monitor project budget spending, keep stakeholders updated on progress and escalate any risks.
Work closely with colleagues in different teams communication, development, design and marketing; to bridge product requirements, create a cohesive approach and deliver excellent user experience.
Utilize a user-centric approach to discovery, using research to test assumptions and validate requirements.
Be the point of contact for key clients; the bridge between the development and project implementation.
Monitor project budget spending, keep stakeholders updated on progress, escalate any risks and propose solutions.
Support in developing project briefs, scoping documents, reports, and status updates – to share internally and externally.
Help us improve existing products, build new products and come up with bespoke products for client needs (helping us write product requirement documents and user stories when necessary).

Be comfortable dealing with stakeholders; to satisfy customer requirements and pushing back when needed.
Qualifications
6+ years working as a leader in web3 product management
Experience managing teams of 10+
Someone who has experience taking ownership from start to finish.
Strong familiarity with digital product management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. (Agile methodologies are preferred).
Excellent and up-to-date grasp of digital technologies, user experience design and research techniques and the effective use of them
Web3 and DAO experience highly preferred.
